Dude...that soooo happenned last night!!! :stretchgrLike the wife getting pissed you have so many cigars....
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Robusto. I even broke out my T52 ashtray when the new box came in!Glad to hear it Koujo ... which size?

A T52 with a little extra age is one of my favorite cigars period, all countries of origin factored in. A well-aged #9 is just below that.Good News:
T52 are hitting like beasts. Johnny Brooke put 4 boxes of them in my truck the day before the Great Smoke, and I'm glad he did. I gave them all out at the event. Luckily, I was able to share at least 30 out of the 96 with friends and people who I know real well, many of whom have been smoking T52 for years already. I was curious as to everyones opinion. Most found them to be consistent with the T52 of years past, with the only interesting difference as the strength was kicked up one notch.
Bad News:
We went through great lengths to pull T52 from the market for 13 months and cure the 2009 (American Habano) Crop to its fullest potential. So in no way are we going to pressure production in increasing output beyond expertise. We have been making them everyday, and slowly easing the team into more production. But we have to take it real slow.
Conclusion:
Right now, I believe that T52 is the finest regular production product that Drew Estate makes. Some people like Dirty Rat (which is in the T52 family and same wrapper), some like No.9 - and thats all fine. But all things considered, I believe that we have something to be pretty proud of in T52. Plus, I simply love the Habano Seed, Connecticut River Valley Grown, Stalk Cut/Cured capa.
Hope you guys get to enjoy them. All of the sponsor companies on BOTL are Liga Privada accounts, as well as Podmancigars.com
Best,

JD - people use the word "strength" in so many different ways - would you say the new T52 has a stronger nicotine hit, more intense flavor, more "peppery bite", all of the above, something else.. ?... the only interesting difference as the strength was kicked up one notch. ...
Thanks; I really appreciate the info.... All just turned up one notch ... (+).
My local B&M has gotten a few boxes of LP in lately. Got 4 boxes of FFP that went in one day... actually in 5 hours. Then yesterday
they got 3 boxes of T52 and 1 box of Dirty Rats. I happened to be there when they came in and snatched the Rats... I can't wait
to smoke em. Picked up a couple of the T52 Toros as we as a 5-pack of Robusto from Podman Cigars. Looking forward to trying the
revised blend
