The only thing that is consistant about my morning for about 2 years is, at ~6:30 i have to wake up to take the worst pee. I don't remeber having to do that earlier in my life, but now its every morning.

I wake up at 11:20 and shower and then put on clean clothes. I plug my ipod in and let it sync/charge while I check the e-mail and sometimes the work ticket system to know what the heck I have to come in to. Then I either pack up lunch or try to leave early and grab something before work.

The alarm goes off at 5:30 - wife takes out the dogs while I shake the dew off the old lilly stem...then it's coffee and check email and check this site and another while watching the local news. Around 7:00 am, it's time to make that long trek - 30' - to my office. I hate these long commutes! Later, I'll take a shower, but not too early if I'm working from home all day. If I'm heading out, then it's shower and hit the road about 8:00...

Exactly. Brian said once he hit 40, he took a shit every morning at 5:00. The problem is he doesn't wake up until 6:00.

Hmmmm, let's see.

Up and at 'em by 0545 at the latest.

Shower, brush my teeth, brush my hair, and put on my under clothes.

Wake GW in time for the beginning of Noggin at 0600.

Hang out with GW for about five minutes and then wake up Anderson around 0610.

Then I get dressed around 0615 while the wife dresses the kids.

Take the kids downstairs around 0620, fill my coffee mug, mix Anderson's bottles, pack up the kids items for school, make my lunch, eat some oatmeal, and grab a cigar...hopefully out the door by 0700.

Drop the kids off at daycare and fire up my daily smoke...ideally pulling out of the parking lot at 0715.

Arrive at work between 0830 and 0835.

Wake up whenever I feel like it... Stretch.. and hit snooze for another hour or so... then wake up, realize that I am now rushed so i take a shower, brush the teeth, eat some oatmeal while checking my email... then i put on some clothes... wake up whomever is in my bed, throw them out and then leave for school in time for my 1:30 pm class....

I know I know... I live a hard life

I get up at 7:00 Am, let the dogs out and turn the computer on.
I read the Cincinnati enquirer online and then come here. Eat some breakfast while reading. Jump in the shower about 8:15-8:30.
Have a 15 minute drive to Burnside yo work. Have coffee at work. I seem to get into the swing of things about 9:30-10:00

Try going to bed earlier and at the same time consistantly will help. Works great for my 8 year old and your pretty close in age Tom.
:tongueout:tongueout:grinFU::grinFU:

I should follow that but it never happens.

And I am with you David. I love hitting that snooze bar!

Same here Cliff. I have at times almost nodded off and fell off my chair I got so tired. I usually brush the teeth and fall asleep 2 minutes after getting into bed. As far as waking up, the wife bumps me really hard after the 3rd alarm. As a fireman, one would think the home alarm would work but does not. Now if I have one of those claxton alarms like the station has, I would be running down the stairs before the alarm has time to stop ringing.

And Tom, I am a hypocrite anyway. I never go to sleep at the same time and I stay up too late also.

At least we out lasted Tom tonight. Mr. Sandman is calling now, good night all. Turn the light off when you leave. Tubaman will sure to be on shortly to start the next days show.

I've been trying to get out of bed right when the alarm goes off. Seems to work better
