For me it's a tie between Nosotros and Drac.
+1

I enjoyed the corona largas, but the rest of the Nosostros were too dry on the palette. There was a bit of trial and error with this brand, it was probably was a wise move to scratch it and move on.

I didn't smoke 1/3 of the Drac before throwing it out the window.

While I don't have the highest expectations for the "value" cigars, I was badly disappointed with a lot of them this year. From the Esteban Carreras 187 and 5150, and the Nester Miranda 1989, and a few others

For me it was the T52. I found it very unbalanced and unpredictable. I'd get little pockets of flavor now and then, but most of the time I got nothing. Granted, I only smoked 1 and it was fresh out of the box. I'll probably give it the benefit of the doubt and try another just to see if I got a bad stick from the B&M. But the first impressions were not favorable at all.

In the bargain catagory, it has to be the Arganese Blend of the Cugine. The Alec Bradley blend was pretty tasty but when he moved over to using Arganese as the blender the quality of the stick just tanked.

The third was a house blend that a local vineyard had made for them called Vineyard 48. When I saw them in the case, they looked like a hidden treasure. So much plume it was like a cigar rolled in sugar (and no, it wasn't mold). The sticks were still oily and smelled realy good....up until I lit it. It was like smoking grass clippings from a compost pile. I was VERY disappointed because apparently the vineyard knew HOW to care for cigars judging by the amount of plume on them. Too bad all that plume was wasted on something I wouldn't even call a dog rocket out of giving dog rockets a bad name. Oh...and the wine sucked too!

Im going to go with Sep 08 Sir Winstons. In 09 they were young but still full of flavor. Earlier this year they went flat in a bad way. Now it's time to sleep.:crytears:

I had a couple that really stood out: Drac, 7th Reserva and Liga #9. I had a bunch of Drac's and they just didn't do it for me; I guess I was just expecting too much. I've had two of the 7th's and they were alright, but I'll wait to give them another chance down the line. I was gifted one Liga #9 Toro and it just seemed bland to me; I'll give this one another chance later as well.

Ive only had a few cigars this year that I found unsmokeable, a CAO Gold Maduro and the Punch Uppercut. The CAO was so acrid i had to pitch it after the first inch, and the Uppercut was just not good overall.

+1. I smoked a few My Fathers I got from Cbid about 3-4 months ago, and I was highly let down. Then last week I smoked 2 Le Bijous hoping for a step up, and they were fantastic!
If you liked the Le Bijous, try a La Aroma de Cuba Mi Amor. IMO, it's similar but tastier.
