Saw the pilot on TV before I moved. Loved it. Had no cable for the last year and bought the DVDs. Watched them all and waited for Season 2. And finally got cable and my 60-inch flat came. Stoked for tonight's season opener!:assaultri

So excited for this tonight. I don't have cable, but I'll be procuring this somewhere tonight after it airs. Such an amazing show. AMC is one of the best stations out there.

I must admit I was a bit perplexed with the season two opener. I was a little let down...have to see where the writting leads I guess but I really hope this isn't a bad sign.

Not sure where the writting is going with this is all I was Saying. Are they or are they not going to find help? Is there some hope? I spent 5 years on the show "Lost" and was pissed at how they f-ed it up.
All the friggin commercials too!!
I just felt the episode lagged in excitement for an opener but that's me.
I love how this show gives me the creeps and I must admit my stomach aches after watching it but I just hope there going somewhere with it this season. Guess I'm just expecting a big let down.
Don't get me wrong...It's still movie quality for sure and I'm hooked.

I'm not sure about perplexed but definitely disappointing season2 opener. First 20min were good but then ... I fell asleep twice. Spoke to few other fellow 'Walking Dead' fans and all were on the same page. This better get more exciting, or else.

PS. You should check Dion Giolito's tweet summarizing last night's episode. I concur w/ him !

I agree completely and was going to post the same thing. Very slow opener....The entire show was about the hunt for the little girl. They did not expand on the first season or set the stage very well for the rest of the season.

It was basically a jump into we have to leave Atlanta, going to Ft Benning, fight a wave of zombies, little girls goes missing, we go looking, then the cliff hanger at the end sprinkled with a bunch of dead bodies in between.

I hope the rest of the season is better.......

I have to admit, last night's opener was less than thrilling. I don't think it came close to last season at all. I sure hope they get back on track.

I was so looking forward to Season 2, and now I'm afraid it's not going to measure up.

That's what got me really BORED! I was like...really? An hour and a half of this?
The show's special effects and make-up is awsome but the story was crappy for an opener.
Like I said...I'll keep watching for sure. Just hope it picks up. Last season was fantastic so I'm crossing my fingers.

I am hoping and think it will pick up, I also think he ought to just tell him he slept with his wife good lord who wouldn't under the circumstances and the deputy I think would understand. More of an issue leaving him at the hospital but again not much choice there either. The guy from deliverance is picking it up a notch I think I may start to like him LOL

I have to say....I really hate all of you. After reading this thread and still feeling a little iffy on the show, I was convinced in Chat to watch an episode or two of Season 1. Well, I noticed it was on Netflix around 2 am....and fell asleep at 6 am. I'm now on Episode 4 and, to my dismay, greatly enjoy the show. Now my productivity has sunk even lower.

I woke up at 4 pm and....immediately hit the Netflix again.

I hope season 2 doesn't turn out to be a let down. We finally had a close friend tell us we HAD to watch the show, so we managed to get the DVR to catch the marathon the other day. I put it on this morning to convince the girlfriend to watch it, and now we are both enjoying it.

The ending of Se2Ep1 could lead to some very interesting dynamics between the two women with children... I think it could help or at least make the plot more interesting.
