As best as I can estimate.. we have 16-18lbs of meat (pork loin, beef brisket, venison, burgers, brats).... about 6 gallons of alcohol (2 types of "shine", 2 single malts, a couple of nice rums, a couple of nice bourbons, etc..), and a shit ton load of smokes.... to be shared between 6x BOTL...

Sunday is going to be a day of recovery I believe

everyone ok with "spicy"?

trying to decide how to season the loin and the brisket.. thought I might throw a little cayenne and jalapeno into the sauces/rubs...

also planning on putting together a batch of Haitian pikliz... its a really good vinegar based Caribbean slaw sort of dish (I think its good anyway..).... but its got some heat/spice to it as well..

if someone in the group is opposed to heat.. speak now... and Ill put together some instant mashed potatoes or maybe some plain oatmeal for you

(I promise not to burn anyones taste buds off... just want to make sure Im not going to give someone an episode with irritable bowel syndrome if a little habanero, jalapeno, and cayenne makes it onto your plate )....

Ummm.... Things just got interesting..

ZipTie decided to answer morrisjohns call to bomb the HERF...

Not only does he send me an insane selection of smokes.. a bottle of locally produced, small batch, whiskey for all of us to enjoy, some aftershave (gotta smell pretty for you guys when you come over.. :inlove: ... and some toys for the puppies to play with (gotta give them something to do other than hump rev and freebirds leg all afternoon... ).... he also sends a coffin for use in my cabinet (I was looking for coffins a few weeks back to fill with KL and put into my homemade/redneck cabinet)..



but he also bombs the rest of you with a grab bag of 16 smokes....



and he bombs Rupe personally...



The only rule he has provided is that Im not allowed to touch the hooch.. or the smokes.. only house guests can.. and that nothing can be left before anyone leaves
