Probably. LOL!Looks like your one of the guys that can make it to 3017 with all that.:applause:
I was that way too looking around in everystore I could think of for shaving supplies. The chase and finding new products is a fun part of getting into wet shaving.Forgot to post my last shave which was at the start of the month but I won't be abel to shave till have Movember is over! Side note is anywhere I go I look for shaving supplies now, downtown here we have a soap shop that have some creams, in a little store I found little kits that come with soap and a brush or a mustache mug filled with soap. Its crazy how addicted we get to new fun hobbies.
Glad to hear that your first shave was a sucess TimWell, tonight I decided to clean up my Movember beard after an EPC Encantos and a few glasses of Zacapa 23.
Pre: Hot shower
Cream: Queen Charlotte Iced Key Lime
Brush: Semogue Boar
Razor: 1954 Gillette Super Speed Flare tip with Racer blade
I'm sure I missed some steps, I'm still not sure what's what (let me know if i missed a step with what you included, Hot_Sauce).
I fully expected to cut myself up, but I didn't have one nick. My face feels nice, cool, smooth, and smells great. The shave literally makes you feel like a million bucks, I can't thank you enough Hot_Sauce!
I only have experience with 3 blades so far but the Gilettes are surely my favorite.View attachment 36987
First shave after a successful NovemBEARD!
(*wife cheers in the background*)
Prep: Hot Shower
Pre: Proraso Pre Menthol Eucalyptus
Brush: Merkur Silvertip Badger
Cream: Proraso Soap Menthol Eucalyptus
Razor: Merkur Vision
Blade: Gillette Blue
Post: Cold water & alum block
Aftershave: Armani Code Balm
Back for my first shave in a month and it feels SO great! I tried one of the Gillette Blues I got from Seamus and was thoroughly impressed! This was only the second type of blade I've tried, just used the Merkur blades that came with my kit up 'til this point. I'm definitely a fan and for my face would choose the Gillette over the Merkur at this point. Just seemed to cut with less effort.
