Spring strong sweet tall green grass grow...
One of the things I've found fascinating while following this thread from the very beginning is the design and build process. I have absolutely no clue how long it typically takes to design and build a pipe that's a one-off design, let alone a production model that you can replicate over and over. I would think that four months is pretty fast for that.

But, when you add in the fact that this was, to no small degree, "design by committee", I am in awe of how flawlessly this process went.
I am still amazed at how well everything worked out! Thanks again, Cody, for taking on this project and doing such an amazing job! It seems like all the right pieces just fell in to place.

Well I shouldn't get to far ahead of myself as I do still need to finish the last batch of pipes and get them sent out....but aside from that, yes I am very happy with how this project has come together. I have to give Clint a lot of credit with all the help he has gave me with keeping the online side of things balanced, as well as shipping the single pipes out once they got into the states. I couldn't have asked for better help. It was a fun project getting all the BOTL involvement to design the piece, and I tend to think everyone did a great job. I am really happy with how it all came together.
I have to also give my wife a huge amount of credit, turning them out in the time I did has been pretty consuming of the free time, but it's one of those things I didn't want to keep you guys waiting to long on.
It will however be nice to get back to the one offs and fill some commissions which have started to pile up.

Let me add my gratitude to everyone who was involved with this. From Kelvin who first proposed the thread/idea to those who expressed enough interest to make it something worth considering.
A big thank you to Clint who organized and handled all the processing/polling/shipping/etc. Joe for the extra surprise (I wasn't even aware of it!). And most importantly, Cody for making it all happen.

And Sean - you will never know! :tonguerol

Well, i finally got time to get some pics of my new pipe. It is truly a work of art and pics will never do it justice.

Also, I love how the stem turned out. Honestly I don't think I ever thought about it much but it really does add to it
