I don't get to smoke as much as I would like to, I figure I'll have some nice aged baccy for the future and if I don't care for the sealed aged tins I'm sure I can trade/fleabay them for their current retail value or greater and buy something new

And I'm not trying to encourage the rest of you, just my thought process on it all

I buy tins more often cause I know I can resell them if need be in the future, and it cuts down on the mason jars!

Do they smoke as good as they look? It's hard to believe they could smoke better as others that don't cost as much.
You know what's funny about that...? I've never had a pipe that smoked "bad" to the point where I don't want to use it.

I also think Boswell pipes are a pretty good deal considering that they are custom made...no two are the same.

The only thing I don't like about my Boswell pipes is the weight. I've begun to be a clencher(didn't used to be) and most are too heavy for any longer periods of smoking. That said, they are a great value and smoke very well.
I'm the opposite. I like holding the pipes in my hand, and like when they feel solid & heavy.

Any idea what makes the Boswell pipes heavy? Thick walls(something else that I prefer in a pipe), or the type of briar used?
