Rubbing it in lol. You got plenty of room for more baccy there....Of course if you have a cupboard with lots of shelfs, you don't need to stack:

But I don't know... the line, "Your going to need a bigger boat." from the movie Jaws comes to mind.![]()

You know you want more....cue the enabler....Oh yeah - there is a matching cupboard on the other side lol!
I got a ways to go yet.
This forum will have you down that slippery slope going 100mph in no time......I mean.....ummm.Damn i wish I had a spot like that to store tobacco! I'm stuck to a 19qt cooler for now![]()
David, the labels with those jars really do look great. Not just storage, but a showpiece!Of course if you have a cupboard with lots of shelfs, you don't need to stack:

I was going to ask him about that. I'll be PMing him about them momentarily. They really do look great!David, the labels with those jars really do look great. Not just storage, but a showpiece!
Thanks man. I am susceptible to marketing... uh, I think visually hence, I take the time lol.David, the labels with those jars really do look great. Not just storage, but a showpiece!
That's what I was going to ask you in our PM's back and forth. Well now I know...again. Thanks!!! I might put them on top of the mason jars. But I might re-use them for other baccy once I go through one or two of them. I know I'll need more anyway.....BTW - I note that keeping all the labels as high as possible on the Jars has the best effect. It really makes for instant recognition. Moreover, if you don't know what the blend consists of...
FWIW - the tins that have the labels on the sides are easy, simply pry where it's glued and it'll pop off. The tins with the labels on the top are impossible. I simply take screenshots from pics on the net, print them, and then cut them to size.
I attach them by simply taking packing tape and placing the label on it (place the label on the tape first) - then place the label on the glass. It really does look good. Much better than my photo is showing.
I usually scan my round tins as I tend to get a better quality picture than what I find online. Also, a little humidity can help release the adhesive if you want the actual label. I had some empty tins in what was essentially a walk-in humidor at our old townhouse and after a while was able to pull those labels off clean and use them like stickers.BTW - I note that keeping all the labels as high as possible on the Jars has the best effect. I might have to try that out too. See what happens. What I did now was scotch tape the baggies from 4Noggins to the mason jars. I didn't want to cut the baggies.I usually scan my round tins as I tend to get a better quality picture than what I find online. I don't know what it would be like on the metal lids Chris, but on the glass, it's pretty easy to peal off the tape/label.That's what I was going to ask you in our PM's back and forth. I'll show you what I did. I pretty much rigged the jars for now. So if it's a baccy I'd pass on and not get again, I don't have to go and get more jars. Just rinse out the one I have and re-use it with something new. PLus I don't have a cellar or anything exciting to flaunt all the baccy's anywhere just yet. So it's just sitting on my dresser drawer in the box it all came in.I don't know what it would be like on the metal lids Chris, but on the glass, it's pretty easy to peal off the tape/label.
Why the vendors don't make vinyl labels and place it on top of their labels for this very reason is beyond me. I really need to go pitch a producer.
Haha! I have a box full of bulk baccy baggies I saved, too. Not sure what I'll ever use them for, but I've got 'em just in case.I might have to try that out too. See what happens. What I did now was scotch tape the baggies from 4Noggins to the mason jars. I didn't want to cut the baggies.
What would be really cool is if you colour-etched the image onto the lid! I saw the picture of your jars with what I thought was that very thing. The one with the Gaslight.I usually scan my round tins as I tend to get a better quality picture than what I find online. I can actually see myself using them, if I go out somewhere cigar and pipe friendly to transport point A to point B. I have a TON of cigar bags from the local B&M's.Haha! I have a box full of bulk baccy baggies I saved, too. Not sure what I'll ever use them for, but I've got 'em just in case.
Patent that and start the business! LOL.What would be really cool is if you colour-etched the image onto the lid! I saw the picture of your jars with what I thought was that very thing. The one with the Gaslight.
