Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.
Well, longer than this, but I don't care. Money well spent! How long did you expect your portion to last pbibby?
562! Once we're over the committed amount, I urge guys to keep posting so we can see some extra old stuff! And if you want an additional challenge, then donate the amount of years that you smoke!
652! Guys we're almost at the limit!
That's a nice looking box! This is from my first box split I did as a young lad with @keinreis . No box code but on the back it talks of a release date for a cigar in Germany on Sept. 22, 2001. So I take it if DE was on top of their box game and screen printing, these are from at least 01'.

It was gifted to me from someone very generous on another board. I've had it for probably 4 or 5 years. I was told it was from 1915, but I think they were just going by the patent date on the wrapper. I found a few ads for them from the early 20s, but I'm not sure how long they were produced. I'll try to post the ads when I'm not on tapatalk.Just curious about that wrapped cigar as I've never seen it. It says "patented" in 1915 but are you saying that's the age? What brand or other info can you share, the paper wrapping definitely does look old.![]()
Adjust my entry date to 1939, but not my pledge
So after the adjustment we're at 626!652! Guys we're almost at the limit!
AGAIN PLEASE POST AFTER WE MEET THE LIMIT! YOU'RE NOT REQUIRED, BUT I ENCOURAGE YOU TO DONATE THE AMOUNT OF YEARS THAT YOU SMOKE!
Oh, and brand is El Dallo. Sorry, I forgot to include the picture with the name.It was gifted to me from someone very generous on another board. I've had it for probably 4 or 5 years. We'll add 15. I think it meant crop year 93. So let's assume they used 7 year old tobacco. Is that OK?![]()
In fear of missing out I'm throwing my submission in. Oldest thing I have. Not sure that it's actually from '93 so Paul add whatever you want money wise. I'm not really a Macanudo fan but this isn't bad.
Yeah man whatever you want. This is your show. You just gave me a reason to smoke it.We'll add 15. I think it meant crop year 93. So let's assume they used 7 year old tobacco. Is that OK?
