Been busier than a cross eyed boy at a three ring circus, building a couple sites -- one a web store, while the other site streams old radio broadcasts. Suddenly realized that with all the extra work I had not rolled a single gar since sending out sticks for Bliss's Circle of Leaf. Checked dates -- I sent 'em out the end of October. That's six weeks ago; no rolls. In fact, when I checked my parejo mold I found three Flans still in there waiting to get wrapped. So I wrapped a pair & fired one. Kickass gar even without the stinky leaf shroud. I did stash a Pirouette tin packed fulla shrouded Flans. Won't be able to shroud any more in future, cause I gave away that stinky-leaf. Four pounds of tired-of-looking-at-it habano. Great waste of money. But looking forward to cracking the tin open next Spring.

Meanwhile, just to get back in the swing, I rolled up a couple quickie fectos, while watching the run-up to that most excellent Army-Navy game : Ec seco & ligero olor, bound w/ Sumatra and wrapped in FX CT shade -- one with a touch of Nic, & the other without. Home runs, both. We scored a cookie tin at Costco that will prolly hold seventy five or so fectos once we munch up the butter cookies. Time it's empty, I want to have just the right blend to warrant stashing that many.

Time to buckle down & get busy.

Might roll a bunch on this snowy night. Three to start.
Olar Ligero, Corojo Viso, olar Seco, Ecuadorian wrapper, Sumatra binder.
Ecuador is the spice lifter here.
Oh, almost forgot, some BMF upper stock.
These are really good.

Man what the hell is all over your chaveta... is that mold?
Prolly ought to clean it with distilled water.
;)
& be sure to use rubber gloves.

This thing has got 10,000 firefighters from all over the western states fighting it like a bitch for two weeks now. One firefighter died two days ago.
