Do you have a ejector pit in your basement? Not a sump pump but ejector pit. You are going to cause negative pressure with out a fresh air intake.
(I have a finished cigar lounge with a 1200 Cfm motor. 7 years old now. I’ve learned a lot of the years)
Air pulled from a ejector pit does not smell the most pleasant......

Thank you! I had to google what one was and don’t have one I don’t think.

All I have (I think) to watch out for are gas fireplaces, and basement drains.

I only have a 190cfm now, the upgrade will be 700cfm, if it causes issues I’ll get heated makeup air from outside. I’m hoping no need based on google

You will need a fresh air intake. Probably anything over that 190...... I keep my 1200 around 400cfm and with a 8” fresh air intake it still wants to suck air in from outside areas. Even with using 2k dollars in closed cell spray foam on the rooms walls and ceilings. A negative pressure house is a sick house.....
Just my opinion man. I’m up to 3k cigars in my lounge in 7 years.

Darn. My local friend with a lounge keep saying the same stuff as you.

Ok I’ll have to budget for it. Or...

Your fresh air intake will work better for keeping smoke out of rest of house if it's not in your smoking room, FYI.

This is a very interesting and nice build. I really like the bronze/tin style ceiling.

I have always had an eye for the classic oak/mahogany style home library/study paneling. Might look classy on the bottom leaving your upper wall open for framed pictures /posters etc.

I sooooo want wood paneling! But I’m too cheap!
I’ve been looking for faux wood but haven’t found anything yet that doesn’t look stupid.

Any leads greatly appreciated. The closest I found was 4x8 wood vaneer but it’s $300-400 a pop! Ugh.

That’s what I’m talking about!!!
I’m going to hunt for one with bigger “squares” so I can do the whole wall. If I can’t find bigger this might be the one!

THANK YOU I’ve been googling for weeks and never found a fake that nice.

That wall is a must!

You also need to get some Yankee Candle leather candles and you have your ambiance !!

Not really
Been busy and I’m only here on weekends.

I did decide on walls

I’m going to get wood like 6” wide, and make big rectangles then trim then out and paint it like this bar I saw. It will look like paneling, be classier then wallpaper, and still be cheap:

I like that option, making the paneling yourself will save you some $ and be a fun project. Pinterest the hell out of the MF.
