I keep thinking about making another one. Especially since I'm half a year along with my two-a-day fecto project. But then I get to thinking: I'm so much better at it now, how much better will I bee in another six months.

I should get off the dime.
Might as well get off it now as later because six months from now you'll be better six months later... unless your project has some due-by date.

How is it to work with and how does it taste?
I think it's great to work with. In your hands, it would make beautiful cigars. I also am enjoying the flavors but of course that's just me.
Based on some of your blends, I'd guess you'd like it.
Let's see if I can find that AZ addie I had stored a while back...

Been playing with final head shape, was comparing mine to commercial smokes (banded ones). For me, I prefer flatter ending on larger ring gauge since I like to use a v-cutter on those but a little rounder on 46 or less. Flatter heads are a little harder to cap somehow, could be because of my lack of experience.

This cigar uses short filler. I decided to try rolling a regular smoke using the technique I've been using to roll fat spliffs. But whereas with spliffs I put the crumbled weed directly into a binder, and then a wrapper, with this guy, a robusto, I put the chopped scrap into a "base leaf," wrap that in a binder and then a wrapper. Turned out fine, good draw on the bunch. I have a lot of scrap so it's a good thing. Can you show how small your loose leaf is for these? I want to try rolling some but I'm not sure how small to shred the scraps.

I don't have a photo of that, but I aimed for about the size of red pepper flakes or smaller, with the size of crumbled weed or cigarette tobacco in my mind's eye as a reference for what I knew would draw. Bigger might work fine.

what type of binder and wrapper do you use to roll your herb with and does it ever over power the taste of the weed? I’ve been getting carts from the dispensary for a while now but they have a few new strains I’d like to try out and was thinking of using cigar leaf to roll some up. I was never a fan of blunts as I like the taste of the green and gas stations cigars taste like shit to me. I was thinking a Dom Binder and shade wrapper wouldn’t be too much or just use shade for binder and wrapper.

I bind and wrap in CT Shade. Anything else would be too strong to inhale. I (and others) find that there's zero problem or harshness from inhaling the CT Shade smoke.

That’s what I figured. I usually use a dry herb vape because it’s easy and the smell isn’t too noticeable but want to try out some cigar leaf.

It's very fun to try it. I got lucky and had no issues from the start. I hadn't smoked that for 40+ years but was medicinally in need and CBD oil is freaking expensive, and I know 30 people keen to share from their organic grows. When people saw what I was doing, there was serious interest. I live in California, where both medicinal and recreational are legal, so it's a casual situation.
