I play/build custom electric guitars First name is Richard. When I was growing up in Brooklyn it was “yo Richie, how ya doin“ (insert Brooklyn accent). Some people call me Rick and some Rich, I answer to both. I had the username rick6string on an account I had and when I joined here I tried rick6string to keep it simple (less to remember) but for some reason I kept getting kicked back to the registration page. I tried rick12string just for the hell of it and that went through. Actually I don’t even own a 12 string. lol

I was given mine as a nickname at my local B&M. I am always in a suit so an elder statesman of the shop dubbed me Harvard and it has stuck. If only I was smart enough to go there.....

My name is Danilo...
I use the screen name Black Gorrilla everywhere else (yes, gorrilla has to be spelled wrong or Microsoft will not allow it to come after the word black) It started on XboxLive... just needed something menacing I guess. Chose to use my name since this forum is not about games or BS... it's more family than most other forums I've been on (scubatoys was a close second until recently)

When I was in high school a good friend was editor of the school paper and asked me to occasionally write something that was off the wall or controversial, so since I wasn't technically on the paper I would write a letter to the editor and sign it as "Buckshot LeFonque." So I've kind of kept that as my "pen name," though I have written only one letter to the editor of a newspaper in my adult life and for that I used my real name.

The name comes from Cannonball Adderley - he used the name (different spelling) while he was under contract with Mercury records (I might be wrong about the exact label), but recorded an album that was eventually released on Blue Note. Of course, his sound is so unique that I doubt many people were fooled. Branford Marsalis also formed a band by that name (using "my" spelling) in the early to mid-90s.

That is probably way more than anyone cared to know about my username.

My first name is Mike.
My last name is Fraumeni, and when I say my last name name on the phone to people I don't know, a common response is: "From where?"

Hence: m from where

Baldanders is a character in Gene Wolfe's "The Book of the New Sun". One of my favorite book series ever. Wolfe took the name from Jorge Luis Borges's "The Book of Imaginary Beings"

In his own words...I took the name of the giant who is still growing from The Book of Imaginary Beings, which may not be Borges's best work but which I felt free to steal from disgracefully because even second-rate Borges is very good indeed. Borges is capable of making up much better books and monsters and authors than anyone can find in libraries."

Ok, you asked for it. I'm into Mythology and Eris (Strife) is the sister of the God of War Ares. Real mean bitch, much like an ex girlfriend that I prefer to never forget. She was smokin' hot but as venomous as a viper. My nick is a tribute to her.

I come from a basketball family...dad is a high school coach for over 40 years. He's a Hall of Famer too. My mom has been to all but one game in all those 40+ years, and that was the one that she had to take me to the hospital when i was a junior in highschool...i missed a game too. Grew up with all my friends out riding bikes or sled riding while i was in the gym going through my dad's high school practices. Still play to this day...often. Basketball is in my blood; always has been and always will be. I have 3 older brothers, i'm the baby. in fact, i'm a bball baby.

Pretty simple. My all-time favorite smoke, intentionally misspelled. When my wife bought our dog (Shetland Sheepdog), she decided that his registered name should reflect my passion for cigars. She filled out and sent in the registration, with the name (Sigolo) misspelled. I just kept it that way.

When young, I had a darker skin tone (somehow it has lightened out), and I've always portrayed turkish details (not sure if it's the appropiate word...facial characteristics); hence I was known in the family by the name of "Moro", spaniard slang for arab.
Micheal Jackson Syndrome Moro.

Dpmrpa If I told you the CIA would have to interview u.

I'm a member of Phi Delta Theta. We're affectionately referred to as Phi Delts. Simple.
Avatar is me playing paintball, another of my longtime passions, where I have shared the thrill of victory with a good cigar.
