I've got four books going right now; not sure why I do this.

Re-reading Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card; I will read the other books in the series after this.
Reading one of Clive Cussler's collaboration books, which probably means he took the time to approve having his name put on the cover. They're kind of a guilty pleasure; a throwback to old dime-store pulp action novels. To be honest it's blah enough I can't remember the title. There's only about 40 out there.
Tom Daschle's (yes, that Tom Daschle) Critical: What We Can Do About the Health-Care Crisis, which I highly recommend for anyone that thinks the Dems have a great grip on the health-care issue in this country. It's basically the playbook, and it's pretty scary stuff. Fascinating, but Daschle is out of his goddamn mind. Sorry, not to get too political. Worth the read, but not a "good" book.
Standing in a River, Waving a Stick by John Gierach
And House of Leaves by Mark Z. Danielewski

Realized that's actually five books. That's how memorable the Cussler book is.

I'm now about half way through Atlas Shrugged, but I might not make it much farther after absent-mindedly reading a synopsis of the book. I hate knowing what happens...

Not that it's great or anything, but I'm looking forward to the next Dan Brown book Tuesday. I love the conspiracy-theory, fast-paced action books.

I've been looking for a copy in used bookstores for months, seems like it's on everyone's reading list. I may give up and get on the library's wait list, or - - even buy a new copy.

I am slowly working my way through "Blue Blood" by Art Chansky. Very well written book even if it is written by a Carolina guy....

"Up until now" by William Shatner, his autobiography. Light reading for sure, poignant at times, a funny and entertaining look back on his career. Rolled through a few chapters while enjoying a DPG Blue out on the patio this morning.

Outliners by Malcolm Gladwell for fun, More than Money by Neil Cavuto for insight and At The Center Of The Storm by George Tenet for sheer horror.
