• BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

    Cuba - Legally

Would now be a bad time to say that I am going for a week next month and it was only $700 a person?

Star Wars the Old Republic MMO

Yeah I guess Ray and Greg aren't the owners anymore just the founders and I think Ray may still be CEO. Since they were bought out by EA I think Ray said they also have a studio in Denver? Really has increased his travel though. Posted via Mobile Device

Star Wars the Old Republic MMO

Hope the world never gets so PC that we need to stop the lawyer jokes. :) I am not a big fan of online games but have signed up already as I am a big fan of BioWare games. First they are headquartered and founded here and secondly both owners are cigar smokers. Ray used to come into the shop...

I still can't get past playing a video game as the bad guy. Guess to lawyers the Sith may still be on the good side :) Posted via Mobile Device

    Any Brands You Don't Like?

I hate very few cigars but that said am quite picky about what I will buy. If a cigar is gifted to me I will try it but am pretty choosy about what I do buy. That said I do like tats but many of other peoples favourites I don't enjoy at all. I smoke a ton of Fuente's but again there are a lot...

80's Update!! That's a Swatch on your wrist!?

I know swatch has kinda dissapeared from most people's minds but they are still one of the largest watch makers in the world and probably the largest swiss maker. They produce pretty good watches for the money and are one of the cheaper alternatives for mechanical watches as well. Posted...

Tat Anarchy - Worth hunting for?

As much as these were a limited release they were a quite large release. If I remember the hype when these came out Abe wanted these to be more available then the reg limited releases. I think there was over a thousand boxes of these made. Posted via Mobile Device

    Quintero 50cab ??

There has been a lot of packaging changes in the cheaper cigars lately. Between the tins the did for JLP, the newer tins for guantanamerra and the humidors for monte clubs and mini's. This is a very profitable part of the habanos line up so if it is a splashy fancy box I would not be surprised...

    Trade

And if you saw the trade in person most likely the guys are not from here as only half the time are trades here done fairly. The other half the time someone is getting their ass kicked. :) Posted via Mobile Device

    Potato in humidor?

The interview was with David Tang? Have met him a few times in Havana and he does not seem like the type to cut corners on storage. That said I do find that many on the habanos side of things with distributors and such tend to get a little desensetized to cigars in general. Just because most of...

Tells us Pete, JD & any other cigar blenders

I read a while back in an intrerview with one of the largest collectors of Habanos in Hong Kong that he stored at 65/65 half just because at the size of his collection it was just not possible to go through every box and check for storage issues. Like mold or beetles. Most of us are not in that...

    OS5 iPhone group

Blackberry has done a great job with bbm but I am surprised that apple never stepped up with this new release. As much as I love my BB apple seems to have been out pacing them on pretty much everything lately. I do expect that they will eventually put out a great product or as rumours have been...

    WOW....I am lost for words!!

I have had similar experiences with random reg production cigars. I have smoke from probably 30 boxes of 02 Punch black princes and most of that is due one box we had on the shelf a couple of years ago. It was top 25 cigar worthy but the rest have just been mediocre. I will smoke from another 30...

What will happen to the NC manufacturers when the embargo is lifted ?

One of the biggest questions for me would be how and why the embargo dropped. There could be a regime changes before it drops in which case are we to assume that a government agency would still control tobacco production and sales? Things could go completely different then any of us expect...

    Today's Smoke (2004-2022 Archive)

Had a frank today as I had heard some say they were going down hill but I really enjoyed it. Started off a little mild but in a good well aged way. By the end it had gotten a little strong and harsh which to me meant these may still have some legs left to them. Posted via Mobile Device
