• BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

I've been enjoying those as a morning smoke. Pretty cool to see a blend using broadleaf in the filler. The profile has an interesting twang to it.

    Too far gone?

Key West born and raised. Next time you visit you gotta check out J. Wakefield's new place. He just opened and was doing collaborations with Stone and Cigar City before he even had a brewery. I think it's somewhere in the Ft. Lauderdale area.

Publix has really stepped their game up down here I've been impressed. They carry Lagunitas, Cigar City, Terrapin, Funky Buddha, Dogfish Head and some others. They even do make your own 6packs. Gotta love it.

Aaaaaaand hipster cigar design has jumped the shark.

The fox is the companies logo... http://foxtobacco.com/gilbert/ And FWIW those lanceros were really good smokes. Never saw the packaging though. They should have gone a different direction there.

    Homebrewers - Whats Fermenting?

Took a gravity reading while kegging today and finished up at 1.032 / 6% ABV. This stuff is thick but not cloying at all. All coffee and dark chocolate deliciousness.

    Salty Butts

While Ive noticed a saltiness in some cigar profiles I can't say its been something consistent in the finale of sticks Ive smoked and I use both Boveda and KL. Though I don't think the KL your supposed to use is clay based, it should be silica.
