• BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

    Mojo

So if I made a small batch of mojo a year ago and left it in a small spray bottle, at room temperature the whole time, it should still be good, right?

    Finally Pulled The Trigger

I have two decent molds and still use newspaper almost every session. I like to make shorter smokes more so now than when I ordered the molds so use paper for the smaller sticks.

How do you lay out your rolling table?

@Hopduro must be right handed, as I am a lefty, my chaveta and spray and glue are on the left. While by bunching, the binder leaf is in a zip lock straight ahead. The fillers are a bit to the right in their own zip locks in a stack. The stack gets restacked each time, meaning I pull the top leaf...

I've read about pairing your drink with your smoke and conceptually thought I grasped the idea, but now I wonder if this is a whole new arena I need to learn in the sport of cigar blending... The last cigar blend review I posted was when I had started off with 4 Roses Small Batch bourbon (only...

    Newbie rolling

Casing cigar leaves is simply spraying a mist of distilled water on them and putting them in a separate plastic bag. This let's the moisture be absorbed slowly and makes the leaf flexible. Once flexible, you'll want to smooth and 'clean' the leaf. Keep your cased leaf separate from the bigger...

    Needing a new computer... (2017)

Thanks for the ideas. I'm going to have to figure out what Steam software is and how to go about getting Windows if it's not on the machine already. I'm not an Apple junkie so probably won't be going that route...Apples are good but no need to make the family change over right now.

    Needing a new computer... (2017)

So I find myself in the market for a new computer. I'm not sure what happened to my old one but after 2 weeks of a 9 and 11 year old playing on it, it doesn't start any more.... I'd like to have 2 flat screens to allow looking at multiple things without toggling what's displayed. I've been...
