• BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

I'm thinking of unliking this just so I can like it again! That's some funny sheet right there!

Yes, trying out a leaf that's new to me but seems much liked in the home rolling circles. http://www.botl.org/threads/show-us-your-latest-leaf-purchase.86984/page-12#post-1883976 Nice looking Jeep by the way!

What kind of piles? Like filler only, possible wrapper, and such? Or like darkest leaves to lightest?

This sucker is lasting way longer than I expected. @Hopduro , thanks for sending a Mini Kinky to push me in this direction! @BrewinHooligan thanks for telling me to cheroot this baby, making me wonder what else I should try....(n) :cigar::)

That's the case, maybe it'll get better further into the stack. These first ones are small and crinkly.

I haven't mastered the sorting out yet. Usually, I take out just over what I plan on using for a session, case and clean that alone, leaving the rest resealed in the original packaging. I may just be lazy regarding the sorting. I'd need bags for each leaf variety and their assorted stacks vice...

Is it normal to get this much sand off mata fina? That's after the first run through flattening them out some had already been cleaned up. This is the second time flattening/smoothing and cleaning the crevices. I will snap another pic after a couple more leaves... Edit added more pics: This...

    FLASH POLL: IN OR OUT?

99% outside, 1% in a cigar lounge. There are not enough hours in the week to drive 30 minutes to a B&M, smoke for an hour plus, and take another 30 minute ride home. Working "12hr" shifts that are closer to 13hrs at a job 45 minutes from home means there is not time for a B&M.

That'd be awesome, if the wife wouldn't crucify me right afterwards! I'll will take the advice though and upon opening these will cheroot the first one. If I wasn't helping the kids with homework, I'd have made one for the ridea to work in the am. Hell, maybe I should make one now for the...

    What tea are you drinking?

^ Sounds good K. I've been enjoying a variety of brands black tea (Typhoo, tetley, lipton loose leaf and some seasonals.) The loose leaf is the newest to me and much nicer flavors, crisper maybe. Enjoy, Jim

Ok, so I couldn't order the mata fina and pay shipping for that alone....I added piloto seco and Dominican ligero. Should have plenty of variety to last me a while. No where near as much as @webmost 40 pounds stashed, but enough for now.;)
