• BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over time BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

It was only in the dry box for 5 days so may be a little wet, maybe..The flavors were good, no grassy hay flavor at all. And I went and turned down the humidity in my humidor too. This was bound with CT 2LS. As for bunching, I try to go with the entubado but after you (BH) went to accordion...

I'm in western NC, definitely some humidity around. The particular sticks I was referring to are Cromagnon Mode 5's. I understand they like to be on the drier end of storage humidity but I must be drooling when I smoke them because I usually need to hit them with a v notch after the straight cut...

I'd love to learn the perfecto, but for now will be learning to roll to a 48 rg parejo mold. I've found some commercial perfectos start with an easy draw but then within minutes seem plugged. I then hit it with a v-notch cutter and it's easy drawing for the rest of the smoke...I guess it's just...

    Sources for leaf to roll

The first kit I ordered was the LO Medium blend which had the CT Broadleaf wrapper and binder, Dom Ligero, and Nica Seco. I added 1/4lb samples of PA Oscuro wrapper and Nic Viso. The flavors seemed good to me but I need to practice the art of making the leaves into cigars, but that's another...

    Sources for leaf to roll

So as this is a cigar rolling sub forum, I thought I'd ask about everyone's favorite sources of tobacco leaf. I'm familiar with Leaf Only as that was my first source. Next I'm ordering from either Whole Leaf Tobacco (if the Terroso Profundo kit becomes available again soon) or maybe Rollers...

Was that with the accordion method? How much prep time before the bunching, such as casing or cutting the binder?
