I've said this before - but this is just a reminder. I'll be breaking BOTL over time in order to get it into a far better place. Just be patient if you can't reach us! We'll be back
I picked this cigar out in place of the Don Carlos Lancero. This is mainly because I wanted to smoke the best I had to honor the best their is...The United States Armed Forces.
The prelight draw on this was completely old leather. Once lit, two puffs later I was smacked upside the head with...
Yeah, but no use looking out for em. They'll surely never have them up for bid again. Just forget I ever mentioned this. They probably suck anyways! :glassesgr
Okay, I was going to go for the DC lancero, but decided to go with something else. There will be more to follow as I am going to write a review on this very special or should I say quite unbelievable cigar. It was the Ashton VSG ER Special size #2. OMG!! Amazing is a huge understatement. Look...
That's cool. Of the two places which would you say you enjoy the most? The reason I ask is because I have two places I hang that remind me of that. Here's my take on the two. Store #1 is more business oriented and the conversation is generally more stimulating as far as the things that interest...
Today is the day we honor the bravest among us and I would like to give a great big Thank You to all the men and women in the armed forces past and present. I respect everything you all do on a daily basis to keep us all safe. I think today I will smoke a Don Carlos lancero in you all's honor...
Yes they are the Original Release VSG's. In the beginning they came out in cabs of 50 and they were all round if I'm not mistaken. I have heard they are some mighty good smokes. I'll know soon enough!
I finally scored a '99 VSG Belicoso. Otherwise known as a "VSG round". I had bid on one a week or so ago, but those got up to $45-$50/ cigar. That was too rich for my blood. Got mine for $29 which is still high I know, but I've always wanted to try one so I did it.
I would love to have a look at ECCJ. Only problem is I hear bad things about their delivery system. Once they get it straightened out, I'll be eager to get a subscription. For some reason I love to look at the CA ratings even though I know they're full of shit. Probably my fav so far is CM.
I am typically the same. However, I find that most everyone that sees me smoking a cigar almost always brings up Cubans. Either to ask if I ever smoke them or to ask if there's any difference btw them and NC's. I find most have a preconcieved notion that Cubans are ridiculously expensive and...
That's alot of smokes! Funny how people's taste can differ. I on the other hand never really liked the corojo. Loved the maduro and smoked quite a few at one time. Haven't had one in quite a long time because they seemed to be going downhill. I did notice some in a B&M last week and thought to...
Funny you say you're in a cigar funk because I was just thinking the same of myself today. Recently nothing has been tasting real good to me. And last night I smoked a 4 year old VSG Illusion. I think maybe I will take a few days off and see if my "buds" awaken as well. :scratchhe
