BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Homebrewers - Whats Fermenting?
A couple questions: How did you oxygenate? High gravity beers require a lot of o2. Preferably pure o2. Lack of o2 can throw off esters by stressing the yeast. Did you raise the temp of the beer at the end? This can help clean up those esters by rousing the yeast when it's warmed. -

Grilled Pizza
I use a pizza stone on my BGE and think it generally handles the hot spot issue. I really need to get a pizza flipper thingy cause it's a giant pain not having one. -

I've had a few of both. I vastly prefer the Camacho one that Litto blended as opposed to the LFD one that Christian blended. -

I'm in agreement with Orangedog here. This is a highly sentimental value item. That second band is most important and just that he'll get to say he has "Cohiba's" from when he was born, there's immense value in that. Whether or not they are awesome when his time comes wont matter...it's that... -
Cutting through cello??
I've done this periodically with no bad results. If one's cutter (dull or otherwise) can't make it through cello cleanly, how can it get through a whole cigar? That's a hardware issue, not a process issue in my mind. I've had this done at cigar bars for me as well. Never questioned it... -
