• BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

    Homebrewers - Whats Fermenting?

A couple questions: How did you oxygenate? High gravity beers require a lot of o2. Preferably pure o2. Lack of o2 can throw off esters by stressing the yeast. Did you raise the temp of the beer at the end? This can help clean up those esters by rousing the yeast when it's warmed.

    Grilled Pizza

I use a pizza stone on my BGE and think it generally handles the hot spot issue. I really need to get a pizza flipper thingy cause it's a giant pain not having one.

    Face Off........No, Not the Movie

I've had a few of both. I vastly prefer the Camacho one that Litto blended as opposed to the LFD one that Christian blended.

    Fake Padrons

In reality, what exactly could they do about it? Chasing these guys is like a game a whack a mole.

    Fake Padrons

I'd be interested in hearing if they respond to you. I had an issue with one of their Anny's and took pictures and emailed everything to them. Never heard a single word back from them.

Special Occasion - 17 years away.....

I'm in agreement with Orangedog here. This is a highly sentimental value item. That second band is most important and just that he'll get to say he has "Cohiba's" from when he was born, there's immense value in that. Whether or not they are awesome when his time comes wont matter...it's that...

    Cutting through cello??

I've done this periodically with no bad results. If one's cutter (dull or otherwise) can't make it through cello cleanly, how can it get through a whole cigar? That's a hardware issue, not a process issue in my mind. I've had this done at cigar bars for me as well. Never questioned it...

    Liga price increase?

I think you're missing (at least my) point. I never said I don't pay $10+ for a cigar, it has nothing to do with a specific price point being too spendy. I said, for me they've crossed the wrong side of the the price<value equation. This is all a matter of opinion and personal taste and I...

    Liga price increase?

I love LP as much as anyone else, but as Justin and others have highlighted as my point, for me, they've out priced themselves. If an LP and an Opus are sitting next to each other and I have to pick one for virtually the same price, I'm taking the Opus. Or for that matter, 2 other great...

    Liga price increase?

Zach, Nice of you to drop your horribly formulated arguments into a thread followed by "I'm not responding anymore". Maybe next time you should start with the latter rather than the former.

    Liga price increase?

Tim How does a $.50 wholesale increase translate to $2 on the larger sticks? It seems like the increases where different by line.
