I would always ship the cabinet and carry all my cigars in a large coolider with plenty of beads to keep rh stable. I would try to pack away all singles into spare boxes I had laying around the house.

If you want to try and even the rh level throughout try using a fan to circulate the air. Unused oust air freshener fans work or if your feeling froggy you can install a computer fan and timer.

I very rarely have water with a cigar anymore. If its morning or afternoon I will have coffee with my smoke. In the evening I will have a beer or rum.

Maybe it was just an issue with 08?? I have been hearing that a lot of the new production from 11 and 12 are great rott. Give one a go Craig and let us know your thoughts.

I have a box from 08 that were garbage when I first sampled them after 6 months of down time. Waited til the 1 yr mark and sampled again and it was even worse! Fast forward to 2012 and they were a new cigar. IMHO they def need the long nap.

May start freezing also after seeing this!

A compressor unit will suck the moisture out of the air but if you don't need it to cool then it should work just fine as a humi
