I think the Liga 9 and 52 taste great fresh, the pigs fresh, and the uf-13 with a little rest. I always feel that cigars that are real strong, like much of the good stuff from the tatuaje line, taste better with age because the bitterness mellows out. Liga is a smoother smoke so it tastes great fresh. This is my opinion of course, but is probably why I prefer drew estate to tatuaje.... But not by much.

I smoked a 601 blue tonight that had 2yrs on it and it wasn't near as good as the other ones I smoked that had less than a yr. I know that this thread relates more to DE blends but figured I'd add my 2 cents
I've got some 4yo 601 blues - they aren't supposed to taste like Ligas. Aging them gets you a cheap-tasting Padron 1926 maduro however! Great yard gar or hangover stick no doubt!
