BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.
Any anglers out there?

This is what I was looking at this past Saturday night. I was chasing Speck's and Red & Black drum, but the only thing biting were hardheads. Might try and get back out there this weekend if the rain holds off.

That sure sounds like fun, brother! Not many better tasting and hard fighting fish than a nice sized redfish. IMHO there is NO better tasting than a spek!

Ha... what can drones not be used for. They are basically dropping bait right in front of feeding fish. I'd question the legality of this in the states, but furthermore, I don't think it's very sportsmanlike. Kinda like shooting big game from a helicopter.
That's kinda neat, but looks like cheating to me. If I had to put food on the table I would do it, however.
The FLW Costa series is in my back yard this week fishing the mighty Potomac River. My good friend Bryan Schmitt is in 12th place after yesterday's weigh in. He should move up and hopefully will be fishing the last round Saturday. It kills me that I'm not out there but, I can tell you this.....I will be next year!

That's awesome, brother! Nothing at all wrong with having a carp pull on your line. She looked rather proud of her catch, as she should be.Not the target fish she was after but it made her day.
