Got off early today nd had a sierra nevada bigfoot ale from 2010

Some home brew tonight. This one is an American style robust porter that just became ready to drink. May be my best beer yet. Roasted malt with just the right amount of hops and a smooth finish.

Starting out with some 3 Floyds Arctic Panzer Wolf. This is a hop bitter bomb if I've ever had one! If you love a hop forward beer, then this is for you!

Not as good as I was expecting but not bad.

The regular Dead Guy isn't ALL that interesting...just a good drinkable beer. I've actually never bit on the Double Dead Guy for that reason...and also due to the high tag that comes with it.

The Double that I do like however, is the Double Arrogant Bastard from Stone. Much better, and at a lower pricepoint too I believe.

Havent consumed any alcohol in a week so tonight im having a Paulaner Hefe-Weissbier Naturtrüb. Pretty good hefeweizen. A lot more orangy flavor than I was expecting but it is very nice and refreshing.

Last night, attended a firkin event, here in Joplin. Mother's Brewing Company brought a firkin of raspberry Three Blind Mice. Pretty tasty!

So far tonight a home brewed porter at 6.1%, an Epic Barleywine at 10.5%, a gonzo imperial porter at 9.2%, and now a corona extra at 4.6%. Feeling goooood......
