I've heard that from a lot of different people. Sad... Because a guy a talked to knew the homebrewer and said the mass produced version is hella watered down.

Since I will be too trashed to make it on the forum tomorrow I am celebrating my birthday with my all time favorite drinking beer, Aylinger Ur-Weiss. Then another, and another, and who knows what will come after that.

Well I rebottled some two year old imperial stout this morning. I was filling a 16 oz bottle when I ran out of beer about 12oz into the bottle. My glass already had about 4 oz in it so I just poured the rest in the glass and had my first beer of the day. Nothing like a 12% imperial stout at 11am. I just wonder if I'll be able to taste any beer at work.

A buddy and I did a heady comparison the other night. 1 month old vs 18 months old. The aroma was not even close and the hop profile definitely died down but I would choose the old heady over most fresh double ipas/ipas. I just found that interesting.

Bells The Oracle DIPA, I've had this before at the brewery on tap a couple years ago and just found out that they now offer it in bottles...picked up a 6 pack...2 of these back to back and I'm good

I'm drinking some homebrews tonight. Had a slightly sour belgian brown ale so far. Next I'm hitting a nice 11% quad I brewed about 18 months ago. That'll get me ready for bed if nothing else will.
