It also states that the cello hampers aging.

Plus cigars are neat when you smoke them.

I hate to say this but IMO lately the cello helps keep my cigars consistent from foot to cap. Granted I know this is because I have a small 150 count desktop and the circulation of air is poor but until I can afford a bigger humidor I'll have to keep the ugly ass cellos on.

I have never really thought about it. After reading through the first two pages and skipping to the last I think it is best to leave them the way you received them. Sometimes I leave on the cello when I smoke them it adds a little bit of an extra buzz not to mention the flavors. MMMMMMMMMM:drool::drool::drool:

I decided the other day that all my cello's gotta go.

It was a liberating experience, and now my humidor / cigar collection looks (and smells) much better as a result.

Yea I suppose the smell would change. I have a peanut butter jar full of bands and there has never been any tobacco in it but it reeks of delicious tobaccos. I will take the cellys off of the ones in my desk top once I have my own house to smoke in. That way I know I can smoke them before they dry out, not that they would but just in case.
