After doing a number of blind reviews, I'm not surprised to see a list that doesn't make sense to individuals that don't do them. I'm not saying that these lists arent swayed by other monetary criteria but I've found that I've rated top end cigars lower than mid range sticks and I'm almost always surprised by the stick I've just smoked. It makes it easier to relate to a list that doesn't make sense to a banded cigar world.

Their list is a farce IMHO. In years past they had claimed that they only smoke one inch of a cigar for a review. They then tried to justify such nonsense.
I don't know if they've since changed the one inch policy? Maybe they have. But they lost all credibility, for me anyway. I canceled my subscription when they put that $5 whatever it was, cigar as number one a few years back.
I think the One Inch Policy was enacted by Prssident Clinton...

50$ a box? that was a steal, wonder what site you used, since the archive for cbid doesn't go much below 100$ which i got em for. (and i thought that was a steal)....
Thompson's auction site. November 2012. I looked up the invoice and it was actually $54 per box. Two or three years ago, you could get some great buys there. Not so much anymore.
