Went from being a Glock man to exclusively XDM for my poly pistol's
Currently carry XDM 9mm 13+1 and keep the 18+1 mag close by
Carry in either local made IWB leather holster or crossbreed IWB. Also really like my Blackhawk Serpa for open carry (hunting mostly)
XDM's come with a match barrel along with a much lighter trigger pull & 1911 safeties. For me much more accurate quickly than my glock's were.
Can pick up a new one around $600 and the XDS (post recall) are a great CC/pocket pistol especially in .45

No worries. I have a pimped out 36 that I love to death. Ha ha. As accurate with it as with my Wilsons. Great little carry gun.
Well I went to the range and paid $20 to shoot all the 9mm they had, as that was the caliber I decided I wanted to get first. I decided on the S&W M&P9. Got this whole kit for $599, which I felt was a fair price. I carry it everyday in a cheapo Uncle Mikes IWB holster. It's comfortable and conceals well. Now I have to find a smaller gun for my backup, I also plan to carry it as a primary when I wear clothes that aren't loose enough to conceal the full sized handgun. I need to go back through the thread and look at what you guys have. I enjoy reading peoples opinions and suggestions.

I love the comfort and ergonomics of the palm swell on the m&p. The only draw back to me is if the front site gets knocked around it WILL move so be mindful of that. Especially after a drop.

I have a sig sauer P6 9mm with rubber handle grip.
Haven't carried since i was selling hud homes in Detroit for a thousand bucks. Never used a holster. Just tucked it into my belt. Never had a problem

I just never found a holster i liked. And the guy that got me into guns carried in waist so kind of followed the leader
Aren't there belts specifically cut to just stick a gun inbetween the layers of leather?

That'd be cool. I stopped carrying but if i started again I'd prob buy a sw airweight 357
