Why is that?
Will be in Afganistan.....

I played my little par 3 the other day, and if I can beat Bogey golf I am happy. Well I was +6 after 8 and heading for my best round ever. The last hole has a creek crossing that eats my golfballs. After I put 2 in the creek, I missed the green and 3 putted. What ever...It's a stupid game anyway. Hope to get out again this week, so I can smoke a nice cigar drink cheap beer and piss myself off. All in 9 holes.

Ah, that's right, I knew that. Good luck and stay safe!

Today and shot my first sub 80 round I shot a 77. I have been shooting in the mid 80s for about seven months and I am so happy. Now if I can keep it going through the summer.

Took my Taylor Made r11 TP back to Golfsmith during lunch. Gotta love the 90 playability guarantee. This time around I custom ordered a TM r11 TP 10.5# with a stiff 73 gram Mitsubishi Rayon Kai'li (New version of the Diamana Blue Board). The shaft upgrade through Taylor Made only cost me $91. Normally the Kai'li will set you back $275. :eyebrow:

Think I will have to play a round this weekend, see what a real shaft does for the r11.

I played today at Bears Best here in Vegas, I shot a shitty 95, but was able to witness a 28 on the back 9 from the next to last tee boxes. I walked on as a single and got paired with another local. He shot a 41 on the front, and a 28 back, with 2 eagles on the back. Was something to watch. Never seen someone on fire like that before in person.

Playing tonight, Friday and Sunday morning despite the wet forecast for the rest of the week. Best 9 so far was a 46 on Sunday and the best 18 was a 100, which I hope to improve upon real soon. Great game.

Front 9 yesterday was hitting my new driver (R11) great. Not so much for my irons/putter. Of course, when I hit the back 9, it was just the opposite.

If I could only eliminate the bad parts of my game. . .:)

Had a great PSD4 though which always makes it better.

Shot a 62 with 22 putts. Not my best...shot a 54 a couple of times with less than 18 putts.

Oh...we aren't talking about Tiger Woods '12?

Took my dad out for Father's Day today. Had a Dr. Jekyll - Mr. Hyde type round (50-38)
Could have easily broke par on the back as I lipped out or burned the edges on 4 makeable birdie putts. I was 10 over on 3 holes on the front :(

Oh well, it was fun hanging out with my dad and smoked some good cigars.

Missed all of last year because I had to have two of my three triceps repaired after they tore off the elbow bone in a fall. When I first came back this spring, I couldn't drive the ball 100 yards. I've probably hit 2000 balls at our practice range and have now completed about a dozen rounds. Index just dropped back to 14 and I'm scoring in the mid 80s. Goal is to get back to a 10 for now. In reality, just happy to be playing again, and actually seeing some consistency in my game.

Keep your head down boys and hit em' straight!!!!! Low rounds to all!!!!!!!!!
