DO WANT!

as a side note, saw "Argo" with the wife, which features the song "when the levee breaks" prominently in the second act. leaned in to my wife (who is sadly lacking in zepp fu) and told her "THAT'S what that cigar tasted like!". so, you know, mission accomplished, and thanks for that. o)

Wow--can't believe this thread (Headley Grange) has received almost 15,000 views(!)....just wanted to drop-in and say THANK YOU to all of you who supported Crowned Heads on put Headley Grange on the map.

Enough so to crack Cigar Aficionados' hallowed "Top 25 Cigars of 2012" today.

We can't do what we do here without all of you out THERE....so THANK YOU and Happy 2013 to all the BOTLs!

Jon,

We want to THANK YOU for putting out such great cigars. It is really easy to see that you guys have poured your heart and soul into Crowned Heads and the cigar world is a much better place because of it. Your attention to detail and passion for what you do really shines through in the product that you are putting out. In the past year you have earned my respect (and subsequently my business) by consistently putting out a great product that not only hits my palate in all the right places but doesn't hit my wallet in all the wrong places. From Four Kicks to Headley Grange to the Mule Kick you guys have really "rocked" my world this past year!

Thanks again for making 2012 so great. We are all looking forward to 2013 and everything (both old and new) from Crowned Heads!

I agree with you, bd. Crowned Heads put out three cigars that are some of the very best (Four Kicks, HG, and Mule). That is pretty amazing, imo. Everyone's tastes differ, and the fact that all three of these have been widely praised is a huge accomplishment.

Smoked my first Headley Grange yesterday just to see what all of the hype was about. No hype here. It's the real deal! This is the first cigar in a looong time that I nubbed. I can't wait until they get released and I can get my hands on a box. Great cigar!

ssaka - Steve, that was a completely classy thing to do (the purchase AND the post)....very much appreciated. And I will echo the comment that that is a great 'endorsement' as I've always held Steve's opinions and views on cigars & tobacco in /very/ high regard.

And I will add that the feeling of admiration is very much a mutual one--I'm a huge 'fan' of pretty much DE is doing of late. Coincidentally, I'm wearing an Undercrown cap at work right now that was gifted to me by Nicholas (Melillo).

Get a room you two

(j/k - I agree that was a very gracious gesture, both the purchase AND the fact he posted about it) It's nice to see some of the heavyweights of the industry posting on BOTL.

Have yet to smoke any of these as of yet, with all of the new cigars coming out there seems to be just too many crazes so I'm waiting to see if they're not just the flavor of the month. Apparently they aren't so maybe it's time to seek them out.

really looking forward to the new sizes coming out. HG is one of the select few lines that is always in my humidor....Four Kicks too... So, pretty much whatever CH produces, I'm in.

just picked up one of these in the MaW thread (thanks Dustin!)... super stoked to give it a whirl once it gets a little rest in the humi...

I thought the 4 kicks was very good.. thought the mule kick I tried was absolutely excellent... I cant imagine this one not being right in the strike zone as well...
