Very cool. Make sure you ask him about the rest of the Buffalo Trace Antique Collection. It's doubtful that there is any Thomas H. Handy or William Larue Weller available, but if so, they are very hard to come by and supposed to be very good. The Eagle Rare 17 has been pretty easy to come by for me.

I am currently the high bidder on a bottle of the 2006 WL Weller on Ebay....not to bad a price given it's avalibility.

Don't count on that price staying sane Mike. You have over 3 days before it ends and the buy it now price on a couple is $109.99. And as far as I know, this was the least distributed of the BTAC bourbons. Good luck though!

Well, I finally opened up my bottle of Stagg for a poker game yesterday. Wow, that is some powerful shit!!!! I tried a sip straight just to get a feel for it, and I got a feel for it alright!! I put a dram of water in it and it opened up alot. That bottle will do me a LOOOONG time.

I think I have 3 more pours out of mine.. I am somewhat dreading the numbing sensation that the last pour gives with all the sediments.. ehh who am I kidding, that is the best part..
