So I decided to have a glass of this last night before dinner...
Damn that stuff is good but strong as hell.. 3 ice cubes and a splash of water..

Yeppers. PO-TENT. I've actually found it's really good as a follow up to a lighter bourbon as well. Considering its price, the fact that you need to dilute it so much is actually not all that bad a thing, right? :wink:

it was my first drink of the night... it was good.. I dont know how much i could drink though

Eh, it's most definitely sippin' whisky bro'. I had a nice pour of Eagle Rare 17 year the other night and followed it up with a small pour of the Stagg. I hadn't eaten anything since lunch and the combo about knocked me on my ass. We should be an interesting bunch at the Herf. lol.

well there were only 3 cubes so together I guess...

Yea it was pretty tall. I think I fell asleep before i finished it.... it was a long day yesterday..

Well, I ended up with 4 as well, but one is going to another bourbon fancier who hasn't been able to locate any. I also managed to pick up bottles of the 2005 vintage in a trade. I'm going to wait for the 2007 release and do a vertical tasting. Should be interesting.
