Same here.I've never retrohaled because I've never given it any thought actually. However, after reading through all of these posts, I just may have to give it a try!
I gave the Retrohale an honest try last weekend at the B&M. Picked out some smooth, mild cigars to learn with and it hurt like hell.
I understand that it may give you a wealth of fabulous tastes, but as far as I'm concerned, if it hurts that much to learn, I don't want to become used to it. There are a few occasions where I consider making yourself suffer to be worthwhile - Diet, exercise, stuff like that. However, I enjoy smoking as a hobby, so I don't want to force myself to learn something that I don't enjoy from the start. To me, a good cigar tastes like a good cigar, and I'm just fine with that
Yeah I am not much for blowing a whole cloud of smoke out thru my nose. However, getting s tiny bit of the smoke in you nose does add to the cigar.
What I do is after I exhaust the smoke from my mouth, I'll also just blow thru my nose and you'll notice all the flavors that come thru once you do. I don't even see the smoke in my nose, it is such a small amount. But by exhaling a bit thru the nose during the cigar, I can tell the difference.
I was just about to mention this. Retrohaling probably wouldn't even occur to someone who has never smoked cigarettes. I quit (cigarettes) years ago, but I still retrohale often.I do it subconsciously. From all of the years being a cigarette smoker.
