Perfect.

I'll pack up tonight.

Going to throw a boveda in with the Panama's and check on the status of the other packs in the various bags.
Then I just need to add the open can of tuna to the bag I'm putting @akpreacherplayz cigars in, and tape it up.
LOL ! Tuna Juice ! A DRP Tradition ! LOL
Thanks for boosting the Bodevas !

Good to see another Bark Box cigar was survived. Wes has been a little concerned about that, cussing me for dragging him into this... While I dont think I'd like to be placed six feet under for smoking a cigar, I'd at least die knowing I'd get the DRP badge on my tombstone. Eternal glory!

@Bondo 440 , any chance you can get a funeral procession badge ready, just in case?
LOL :p
We have an ambulance badge. I can find a hearse if necessary:dead:

Ok guys, this is a live, play by play review of Preach's peppermint special. Itll probably be several posts, since I'm gonna do it on the fly.
This is an A. Flores serie privada. Construction is nice. Notes from the foot are decidedly peppermint. (Big shock) I straight cut the head, and cold draw is what I would classify as cigarette ash, more specifically cigarette ash and Newport menthol- not a good sign at all.

My spidey senses are telling me this will be a tough one to nub. To pair with this dog dropping, I have selected a redneck special michelada, that I have already decided has too much Worcestershire sauce. I must be getting rusty in mixing these delicious, spicy bits of heaven. Yes, I use a TON of salt. Most gets wiped away before taking a swig though.

Before I even light this monstrosity, while typing the first post actually, my lips are burning pretty good. Cant decide if it's the turd I'm about to smoke, or too much Cholula in the michelada.
First draw after lighting up is nothing but stale cigarette smoke. Maybe a touch of cardboard...
Not much change in the profile as I get into the first third. Same stale menthol cigarette flavors.
I dont usually retrohale, but for the sake of the DRP, i make an exception. The sensation i get is menthol followed by what I'd describe as getting straight vodka in the sinuses. Burns a little. Ash fell of at about 1/2 inch.

Burn is starting to get pretty wonky.

Ash dropped off as soon as I snapped the pic.
Transitioning into the 2nd third, this little gem hasn't strayed much from the initial light.
Menthol, cigarette ash, and maybe a touch of burning plastic. Not very enjoyable, but nothing I cant power through.. yet.
The burning sensation on the lips is decidedly the cigar, btw.

Resting this turd, the taste in my mouth is nothing but stale smoke. Disappointing really. I was all ready to add some snappy dialogue to get a few giggles, but this isn't the worst smoke I've ever tried to burn honestly. The straight up a crops are worse, imo..
Burn has almost straightened out on it's own now. Half way through.....15580635463985185782063639054897.jpg
It is a very off putting smoke. I detest cigarettes, and the nasty stale taste they leave behind. I frequently experienced this taste in my younger days, usually accompanied by a massive hangover. That is mainly what I'm picking up at the moment.
I take another puff after writing the last sentence. It has gone out, and the flavor actually made me gag. Mouth watering a little, along with a sour taste deep down. I'm sure it's not my beloved micheladas doing this.

I truly dont think I can nub this bastard.. my mouth is still watering, my stomach sour..
Starting to burp this nasty stale cigarette taste up.
I'm calling this one. I cant make myself sick over this thing. I have a 9:30 tee time in the morning, and I'm not gonna risk not playing. It is my other, and main passion- golf.
Lips are burning pretty fierce though.
Not sure what the good preacher marinated these things in, maybe an ashtray full of Salem and Newport's. Whatever. It was enough to whoop my ass. I throw in the towel...

Me: "WTF is a michelada?" <consults search engine>

Also me (30 seconds later): @redneck_toy , you may now have my "goat palate" title.... You've earned it. Anyone who'd drink that on purpose deserves it more than me. I just smoke crappy cigars.
Micheladas are definitely a culture thing. Very popular here, and I'm sure California. ( Mexican derived) Spicy red beer, or a beer based bloody mary really. I use a whole lime, 6 shakes of cholula hot sauce, 5 shakes of Worcestershire sauce, two shakes of soy sauce, either clamato, or camaronazo (shrimp and tomato as opposed to clam like clamato) beer of your choice, ice all in a salt rimmed mug. Mouth is watering just thinking about them.

I need to try that.
