Hey brother, have you considered a chiropractor? I have a dachshund that hurt his back and they wanted to do surgery or put him down and I wasn't comfortable with either of those options. It wasn't a money issue because I would spend any amount on my best buddy, I just knew there had to be other options. It completely changed his life. PM me for details.

Thanks for the info. The chiropractor is our next step if she makes it through these respiratory problems. Her back problems were due to 2 ruptured discs and she seems to be doing well with that. After the first surgery, it took about 2 months of rehab getting her to walk again but she was about 90% back to normal and could even run. Then they found a partially ruptured disc that was missed in the first surgery so had to start again. Then she got pneumonia and even after 2 weeks of antibiotics, she can't shake it so we are heading to a specialist today in Richmond. Long drive but she's worth it.

Damn...sorry for the loss. I was able to take my smoke buddy Bear on the road this week and I know I'm gonna be a wreck when he leaves me. I would rather be hanging out with him, then the majority of the people.

Hold onto all those good times and memories that you guys had together. I laughed about a lot of mine with my dog and all the trouble she got into. But they weren’t funny when it happened LOL.
