Here are some of my sticks from this week. While I am not a very good roller, I do like to experiment with shapes, just for the fun of it.
The second one is tapered towards the head.

This ones below are a figurado, tapered at both ends and a box pressed.

Below is my attempt at a chisel head, definitely needs work.

Lastly, below is another box pressed.

I'm off to Cuba next week so my rolling will have to wait.

Haven't rolled an Uppowoc Perfecto in too long a time. Got side tracked ripping off batch after batch of those snap-easy parejos. But the truth is, my go-to stix are all UPs. I love the size of 'em, the feel, the duration, the proportion of filler to wrapper. Love the way you light the skinny end so easy, you get a little smoke, then the flavor expands with the smoke flowing as it burns up into the bigger barrel of it. I've got a nice little 50 count cedar humi where I keep my current smoking stash. It's got a half box Ovals rolled last August and a half dozen Matalotos rolled over a year ago. That's where I always want to reach before I step out to the reading chair on the smoking porch.

I need to stash more of these rascals. Fectos, brothers. That's where it's at.
