I would suggest that if you are going to so it, you talk with CVm4 (cliff) about how he runs the Secret Santa. I'm sure that the advice that you would get would be valuable and help to alleviate any issues you may have in running it,

guys, shit like this, and the main secret santa, is NOTHING to be feared. do your damndest to make someone's day, and know that a random someone will do the same. we are four months out from christmas, three months out from the onset of the secret santa programs (my GOD where has the year gone!), and you should have time to make certain it is for you, and you can participate.

You know it wouldn't be a bad idea to consider putting it in July. It would give people a chance to participate in both programs without going broke and Christmas in July would get us halfway through the year with something exciting to look forward too. Just an idea.

i really see no reason why this cannot be a thing.

i recommend looking at the way cliff runs the secret santa (main), especially in regard to guidelines of eligibility, and timeline requirements.

also, know for certain i would love to participate myself. o)

Thanks Sean- the requirements will be the same as the main Secret Santa. I will begin putting everything together and send the template to you for review. It will need to be fully rollling by October.
