Have you guys heard the story of how Ernie Emerson developed the wave feature? Great story. Saw an interview where he told the story some months back. I'll dig it up if there's any interest.I have two Emersons. A Commander and a CQC-8. Awesome knives...
Yep. Though I seem to remember it being a highly contested story. I'll see if I can dig up the articles I'm thinking of. IIRC, somebody pointed out that a competitor had already developed the feature and Ernie knew about it.Have you guys heard the story of how Ernie Emerson developed the wave feature? Great story. I have the new version (Carpenter steel...CTS-XHP) in spearpoint on pre-order.ColdSteel Recon 1. Great blade, kinda weighty. Might spring for a mini or a micro model. The lock on these is by all accounts unbreakable.

Nice... New DLC coating too. Be glad for that. The old coating is horrible, my only real gripe.I have the new version (Carpenter steel...CTS-XHP) in spearpoint on pre-order.
Aluminum handle scales/AUS-8 model?
You probably live in a cool state like Arizona, etc to be able to order, never mind EDC, that knife. My everyday carry for the past 2 years.. Love the auto OTF for an everyday carry... So handy to operate with one hand while holding something with the other..
