A friend of ours gifted us these 50ml bottles of Asombroso Tequila yesterday. Has anybody heard of this brand, cuz I haven't. I went to their website and this stuff is no joke. When our friend said this is sipping tequila, he meant it. All Extra Anejos

The El Carbonzado is aged 5 years in French oak barrels the double barreled in Irish whiskey barrels. Around $250 a 750ml. No info on the 50ml.

The Especial de Rouge is aged 10 years in Grand Marnier barrels and a 750ml is around $500. No info on the 50ml

The 11 Year has a 20-year production cycle. 9 year old blue agave is harvested and then aged in French oak casks for 11 years. $60 for this 50ml

The Collaboration is aged 12 years in Silver Oak Cellars American Oak Cabernet Sauvignon casks from Napa. $173 for this 50ml.(HOLY SHIT!!!) Around $2,000 for a 750ml.

Needless to say I think I need to our friend out for a nice dinner and then some. WOW!!!

Pinkies out!

And this one is @Opie s fault.. “it’s ok, I’m driving, you should try more samples”.....

Had no intention on spending this much, but the juke joint is impressive, no way I’m passing over a Remus III, and Irene at Canterbury liquors has great picks. Bit of a premium on some of them though...

Individual ticket. Boss never needs to know.

And besides, the clerks own action would cost them their job.

personal accountability sucks when you want to play the blame game.
