BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

No shortage of hotels in the area. Between those at the airport and the surrounding area, there's a ton of 'em. As to the dates, no, they aren't set in stone yet. I just picked those dates because the following Monday is my birthday. :dance:
I'll give it the weekend and we can see about firming things up. Everyone who's interested go ahead and sound off on the weekend of 10/19 (Friday) through 10/21 (Sunday). Good for you, bad for you, prefer a different date for some reason...

I may actually be able to make this. I have a plan in the works to get my wife to go for a long weekend Disney visit, and I am going to try to get her to let me come down to the herf for Saturday. May the Force be with me!!!

well, talked the the GF this weekend about it (always need to run stuff by here first) and here is what she said...
"Let me get this right, you want to go over to Tampa to meet up with a bunch of guys you have never meet in person, smoke a shit load of cigars and drink alot. The only thing you have planned to do right now is sit around and play golf. And you are not going to the strip club! sounds like a boring weekend, but have fun."
Im in. For her to be ok with me going I had to say no strip club but whatever the group does I am with ya. Easier to ask for forgiveness than permission.

Well, I have to say my wife is certainly not excited about the prospect, but I got the "I'm not going to tell you you can't do it," response so if it works out it works out. I've already been out of town on "me" stuff twice this year so she's a little irritated about it being 3 big things like this in one year. Oh well.
We won't be doing much hanging at my house (maybe a poker game, we'll see), but that was always going to be the case as I simply don't have the room to accomodate a large group.
Looks like the dates I suggested work for most so we'll just have to see how things develope. I'll put up a poll later so that we can get a better feel for things.

Jason, did you set a definate date for this yet? I'm about 60/40 being able to attend this. Mrs. Tuba is leaning toward going to Disney instead of a party to celebrate her doctorate. Now I've got to talk her into me spending Saturday with you guys instead of them.
