  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Nada for me this a.m.

The wife took my car because she had a low tire...damn thing has a mysterious slow leak that takes about 10 days to drop 8 p.s.i. and set off the alarm inside. :argh:

It is supposed to rain today so maybe the humidity will dissipate and I can smoke tonight.

Smoking a San Cristobal El Morro that a brother gifted to me.

So far so good, and great size...I can actually hold it in my mouth w/o inhaling the smoke as i breathe...

RyJ Churchill from 98. What a wonderful cigar. Smoked the majority of it out in the Florida room with the wife and the puppy-dog and finished it up on a long walk with the same.

I tried my first RyJ EL Robustos tonight.

It was alright. Not very complex and left a kind of 'dry wine' feeling or taste. :dunno:

The smoke was exceptionally smooth though. I have one more that I will try eventuallty.

Bolivar RC ... remarkably dark wrapper ... must have been flame retardent though ... tight draw and uneven burn.

Almost forgot this...

I smoked a 2004 Monte 4 I got from JW today. I think it is in transition because along with the typical Monte goodness there was a weird "sharpness" like sharp cheddar but not cheese flavored. If that makes sense. :dunno:
