Just unwrapped both slabs, and man they smell awesome. Back on for the final hour and will keep them basted with my mop sauce. Dessert will be vanilla ice cream and a chocolate martini followed by a smoke (either CC or the briar). I hope you all are enjoying your weekend and taking a moment to remember those who gave their lives so that we can all be here today!

Back on the smoker today! Smoked a 7lb. Boston Butt.

Shredded the pork and added some spicy vinegar sauce to it. Put it on a sweet Hawaiian roll with a slice of pepperjack cheese and some mustard slaw. My take on a sandwich from Firehouse Subs. Sloppy and delicious.

My better half bought me a new Smoke Hollow gas smoker for an early birthday/ fathers day gift. I will assemle tonight, season it tomorrow and weather permitting will be smoking a couple small pork butts on Sunday.
