Holy cow! I’m glad you figured it out and stopped, as that must have been painful.
I’m a big fan of Optimum Nutrition as well, but need to switch up the flavor.
I’m hitting that point where I don’t want to drink a shake post-training because I’m burnt out on the flavor. Rocky Road...that sounds delicious!
RR is definitely my favorite of the flavors, tastes great with just water.

Yeah, I thought the whole kidney stone thing might be a coincidence the first time, hence trying io again. No bueno.

Back when I was single and worked out a lot, and drank a lot of shakes, I started adding a teaspoon of Jello brand instant cheesecake mix to my shakes....adds a whole new world of awesome flavors..
When I really wanted a dessert like shake, I'd add a Graham cracker too...

Today was chest day...
Flat bench worked up to 115x5. Couldve kept going but being the first week of working out, thought I'd see how sore I'd be right here...
Incline dumbell press, 4 sets of 8 reps with 25lbs.
Dumbell shoulder press 3 sets of 8 with 20lbs
Skull crushers ( 45 lb bar was too much so I went with a purple band doing tri extensions. Found this also worked abs to hold the tension...3 sets of 10.
Pretty good!

Thanks gents. Tomorrow is sled day again, then a day off, the deadlifts...
When I started deadlifts, I was late to the game. They were a weakness for me, but as time went on, I grew to really love them...kind of sick isn't it? I am looking forward to them again!

Deadlift form is harder to maintain with my gut in the way....
But that should change with time as I continue to exercise and eat better.
Today was deadlifts, front squats, chin ups (assisted by two bands), and dumbell curls.
Tomorrow will probably be sore everywhere...pain is weakness leaving the body.

Nice work, dead lifts are one of those exercises a lot of people pass on doing, but are such an important piece of maintaining movement.

I've cycled through and just did my deadlift routine again last night. Upped my working weight by 10 pounds on both deadlifts and front squats. Felt good!

Day 9 of Insanity (plyometric cardio hellishness)

And:
200 push-ups
60 chinups
2 mile walk

Edit: I can't wait for this cardio/low carb period to be over with. I am ready to eat the meaty things and lift the heavy things.
