Zappa was a misunderstood musical genius.
A fretless sixstring??? Are you kidding me???
"I'm moving to Montana soon, Gonna be a dental floss tycoon"
no doubt, too many people wrote him off because of the "offensive" or humorous songs. He recorded those just to fund his passion. he was a composer, a musician an incredible talent.

@ak2000 ......what are you spinning today?
That's a good one! I was watching the Steven Wilson Royal Albert Hall concert on Blu-ray last night. Sound is incredible.

P.S. watched some of Baby Snakes on his birthday. Still sad after all these years. Good thing Dweezil has been keeping his memory alive with such a great tribute over the past 15 years or so.

Smooth Soul - Piece Of My Heart
I’ll be damned, they kinda “fixed” the skip in the Delfonics “La-La Means I Love You”! I know, I know, 98.2% of you don’t give a chit but this, to a music collector like me, is HUGE!
Took down the last of the outside Christmas lights. Tomorrow we tackle the tree and other decorations.

Been listening to a new to me prog rock band called Haken. Their first 3 albums have been in regular rotation for the past couple of weeks. Very good IMO
