1972 Ford Courier pick up. With a Mazda engine. Oh, and I had to buy that Mazda engine, AND install it. And maintane it. And pay for insurance.
What did my little sister get for her first car? A Nissan Sentra. And it came with a maintanence plan. And someone besides my sister paid for the insurance. And the gas.

1974 Dodge Dart with a slant 6. Timing chain busted while driving within the first couple of weeks. Replaced the motor with a 318. At the time I was working at Pizza Hut for $3.35 an hour. I swear most of every paycheck went into keeping that thing running.
'93 Ford Explorer.. We called it, the Green Monster.. It always had a hit of mildew smell after moms left the moon roof open one stormy florida night..
Mine was a 1965 Malibu......then a 69 396' SS......
