That's part of what makes it a great pocket or (for the ladies) purse gun. Sights and trigger are still far better than an LCP.
Eh, both are concealment guns. Just shoot them for practice. For enjoyment I'll shoot a full size.
.... With a can on it..... :D
LOL, true. The Bodyguard is the wifes gun and it works well for the purpose. I need to work on the can department before they change the laws and we can't get em anymore.

My most recent purchase was a new Browning Citori 725 Sporting. A majority of my time at the range anymore is spent at either the trap house or 5 stand, so I decided to upgrade to a better shotgun for my birthday.

Probably should have been buying AR lowers or an AK, but I didn’t.

IDPA, IPSC, PPC, or what kind of shooting?
Idpa at least. In NY so I can only do 10rd. So stock gun or single stack I suppose.

Curious to see what everyone else is buying, be it sights, triggers, new guns, or whatever.
I picked up a new toy Saturday.
Mossberg shockwave in *gasp* 20 gauge. Only reason I got the 20 vs. The 12 is easier recoil for the wife.
Ordered the Talon grip for this as well Saturday.

Really digging that for an additional home defense weapon..... Would it be bad form for me to ask where you purchased it and the price? If so, I apologize. If not, but you'd rather not post it here, would you be so kind as PM me the info? Thank you! :)

Not at all. I bought it from Erwin Pawn in Amarillo for $379 + tax new. It was $100 cheaper than the other gun/pawn shop on the other end of town.
Buds gun shop has it on sale right now for $369 ($359 cash price), plus whatever your FFL transfer fee would be. Cheapest price I've seen.

They have come down in price some then, street price at a few places I’d seen used to be $400-450. The $379 is a fair price for it

Mp9, 17L, 34, hkvp9, or cz75
Whichever fits your hands best and shoots most naturally for you. That's the key for comps.
I believe the 17L is too long for idpa.

Tough question to answer... totally depends on what type of competition you want to do. Make sure whatever you get is legal for the competition you want to do and the division you want to compete in. Try a few first if you can before dropping the money on something to start. Glock 34 or M&P 9 are a good place to start. Unless you want to shoot a single stack....

A 10.5" Ballistic Advantage barrel in 300 Blackout with 1/7 twist was just delivered this afternoon. Order was placed Friday, super impressed by their speed, had to run into the side job so didn't have a chance to open and inspect the quality, but the accuracy guarantee is nice. I also ordered an upper receiver and the parts to complete the upper friday as well except the bcg and sights/optics. This build is moving along faster than expected.
