My first concert was Iron Maiden... so sad that i had to wait so long for them because I'm 18 and damn... I worship them more than ever! I'm so glad i waited for a group i really really like.:guitar:

Never thought i would actually get to see them!
My first concert was also Iron Maiden.

In 1983.

They were on their Number of the Beast tour, and they were on before Judas Priest on their Screaming for Vengeance tour. Night Ranger opened.

Heavy metal history. I was stone deaf for three days...

Deep Purple, Machine Head Tour, Boston Music Hall April 1973 I think. I was 15. So many shows since then. Still at it. Still love it. Most recent, Mission of Burma in Portland Me. last Saturday night.

Never been to a concert before. Don't care much for most live music, and I definitely don't like the crowds.
+1

I went to a local band's show a few years back and even that crowd was too big. Stupid people wanting to hit and kick because of music? I just don't get it.

Journey Sept 1981 second night of two sold out shows. They played for 4.5 hours and had to be removed from the stage by the fire Marshall. I saw Iron Maiden with the Scorpions and girls School a few months later. Both were excellent shows.

Motley Crew in 1988. Guns N Roses was the opening act and welcome to the jungle was still an exclusive on MTV, back when they actually played music!
