As long as you don't mind sharing your idea, I'll be all over it. Seems fun to me. I'll keep an eye out this week for either a sampler or maybe I'll just find all the ones following the militaristic /assassin theme. That would go better with the title 'A Gurkha is trying to assassinate me'
As long as you are still up for the challenge I just came across a gurkha grab bag sampler in the ci catalog. 10 sticks 25 bucks. I think that is a challenge.

Keep the bag nearby when you smoke the first one. :yuck:
Where's that sampler at, I'm gonna order it, I think it'll be an interesting experience.

And yes, I'll have a bag nearby. Lol

@Cricken
So I didn't need to buy the Gurkha's because you, brother, decided to pass on these guys to me. Whether for my torture or just your humor, it was very good of you. I didn't think to expect a bomb to be snuck in as well. Sneaky, sir.

My only thoughts are that you're giving me those out of sheer pity, knowing that I'm going to be engulfed in the smoke of Gurkha's for the next few weeks. Whatever the reason, they'll be a great treat to my palate after it recovers. Thank you.

Review 6: The blondie. Possibly nsfw at the bottom.
Finally, another Acid review. It's been awhile, so sorry about that. I've been on a long stretch of work and camping on my days off. I was able to sneak out to my porch at 6:45 to squeeze in a short smoke before I put my kids to bed, and the blonde was perfect for that role.

This is a nice looking small corona. Another pigtail cap, and the tip has that familiar taste of candy and incense. I'll give one thing to J Drew, the tips taste fantastic for an infused smoke.

Second time this has happened, so take note, Triple flame butane lighters in sunlight are bad ideas, as I torched the living hell out of this thing.

Going into this smoke, I really thought it was going to be mild. The cigar has such a light wrapper, but I was wrong. Within a minute or two, I'm already retrohaling, and it's easily a medium bodied smoke. Another one with good quality tobacco, but the infusion prevents me from picking up individual flavor's. However, it's smooth and not harsh at all. This may be medium strength, but it's full bodied, especially for a small stick. I'm producing a good amount of smoke from this one.
Halfway through, things start to change. The infusion is still there, but I'm getting a slight stinging sensation when I retrohale. This is disappointing because I was actually enjoying it up to this point.

The final 3rd starts to get better. It's starts to head back to the first 3rd. I find this strange as usually the middle is the best. Oh well, it was still a decent infused smoke.

Acid score 6/10. Almost a 7, but the sting I got reduced it a point. If you're shopping for acids, this is easily one to consider. 40 for $152 is about right for this little guy, but I doubt I'd ever buy a box of any acid.

My favorite blondie, Jenny McCarthy. Goodness, I had such a huge crush on her in the late 90's, early 2000's. I had this poster proudly displayed in my bedroom. good times.

Review 7, cold infusion.
Cold infusion? How do you infuse a temperature into a cigar? Whatever, none of these hipster names make sense to me anyways. Time for another acid. What I've learned so far, is that while I think these smokes get a bad rap, I find myself really having to convince myself to smoke one.

This is a nice looking stick all in all. Construction is top notch, and the wrapper has a nice sweetness to it, but not overpowing. The tip initially has a strong candy taste to it, but it mellows out quickly.

Now that it's burning, I'm experiencing low infusion on this one, maybe 25%. It's medium in strength. So far, it's a nice smoke, but nothing mind blowing.

Halfway through, I'm experiencing a sting on the retrohale, which I hate. With about an inch left, I chuck it. Not much of a review, but I'm finding that acids are pretty one deminsional.

Acid score 5/10
This is not a bad smoke at all, and with the lower infusion, would be a good intro cigar to the line. However, it was kind of a time waster, and nothing that really stood out. Almost a 6, but I'm going with a 5.

Cool reviews. I like that your giving them a chance by not comparing them to your normal smokes, feel like that is why they get such a bad rap. Had a kuba kuba for the first time awhile back and after the intesnse sweetness died down a bit was pretty enjoyable. I'd love to give the maduro a shot though been smoking a lot of them lately and your reviews on it sounded delicious with the black cherry.
